The order flow starts with a country selector, 140 countries, from Portugal to the Philippines, Algeria to Ukraine. Pick your flag : we apply your country's current standards, and the background is never your problem, we process it, whatever colour is required.
Where mistakes happen : backgrounds and formats
- Strictly white backgrounds. Algeria and Tunisia, the two most frequent at our counters, both require a pure white background ; the French light-grey is refused. Algeria also expects 4 identical photos (our sheet of 6 covers it comfortably).
- Flexible countries. Morocco accepts white, blue or light grey, a French-style sheet works for both a Moroccan and a French document.
- Unique formats. Spain's passport and DNI use a small 26 × 32 mm format, unique in Europe, no French photo booth produces it ; our country selector does.
Dual nationals : two sheets, one photo session
The case we know by heart : renewing all your papers at once : the French ID card or passport, plus your home-country passport. Two incompatible backgrounds, but one single photo session : send your photos once, order both documents, and we produce each sheet on its regulation background.
The headscarf question
The honest answer : each country sets its own rule, sometimes different from the French one, and consulates may apply it differently. One constant everywhere : the face must be fully visible : chin to forehead, both eyes clearly showing. We apply your selected country's rule, and when in doubt we check with your consulate before producing, rather than let you risk a rejection at the desk.
